I found this on another forum and I thought this would be a fun get to know you
topic for all to play at.
so what would that one trait be, if we could boil you down to that one trait, and
be simplistic about it?
Nobody is any one trait.
Call me Renaissance Jack, man of many talents and skills: Writing, voice acting, singing, music composition, world building, sound design, and audio production - all of which I do pretty well, none of which I particularly excel at and none of which I have settled on as a particular focus. it is ... agrivating to say the least.
Crazy.
Laughing.
Someone who cares much even about strangers. Super sensitive to the problems of others.
I'm not a big fan of boiling a person down to one characteristic, as I think that honestly cheapens whosoever is being talked about or targeted. We may in some situations be dominated by one tendency or another, but that one tendency is never the driving force through an entire lifetime, or in all situations.
That said, if there is one thread which weaves through pretty much everything I do (I say "pretty much" because sometimes it really doesn't work this way at all) it's attention to detail. I am fiercely analytical, to the point that sometimes I lose sight of the right angle in pursuit of complete understanding or dismantling of one of its facets. I have, for instance, been known on occasion to start picking something apart when the best response would be support or a willing ear.
This marks progress. Two years ago, I would have had to say that cracking under pressure was my defining characteristic.
More single most defining trait is tenacity. I never quit, I never give up, I do reach my goals.
